This is something I sent to a usenet group in 2002 in response to a posting which I thought was rude, and I blew up.

Go back to Windows because your are not worthy.
EY… What attitude is that to show to a posible Gnu-Linux newbie???
Can you say with all of your heart that you understood how Gnu-Linux works & how to work everything out when you first tried it? Did you know how to solve all problems?
Even you started somewere & didn't understand «this shit»!
If you keep saying to the newbies that they must know everything from the beginning & says «don't bother ask this stupid, cuz I don't help lamers», How on earth are you going to convince 'em to switch to Gnu-Linux?
You need to realize that Windows is great for the use Windows is Made to do. Windows wasn't made (originally) to be a Highlevel security internet computer, but a Game box & a workstation where your kids play, & their parents write documents & such things.
Also Windows make things easy. Microsoft made a lot of effort to make things in a way so even granpa could use it.
Gnu-Linux should learn from that. Think a little. If things were just a little easier more ppl would use it.
Be real: Gnu-Linux is easy IF you know how to do things. If you don't know how, it's nearly imposible.
People have to learn it at some point. God didn't create you with Gnu-Linux knowlege.
